Sombrero Time offers quality Spanish language instruction at our education facility in Granite Bay, CA.  These classes represent our flag ship language instruction service offered to the public and set in an ideal learning environment.  Private Spanish classes are also offered at Sierra Elementary School in Rocklin, CA.  If you are local to the area feel free to drop by and observe any of our classes.

Home School Spanish

Sombrero Time offers a customized language learning solution designed to meet the needs of Home School families.  We understand the need for flexibility in your busy schedule and have class times available to meet your requirements.  Home School Spanish is offered twice per week for 60 minutes for small groups of 5 or more students.  Classes are held at our Granite Bay Education Facility from 9am – 1pm Tuesdays & Thursdays and 9am -2pm Wednesdays & Fridays.  Once you have a small group of 5 students formed contact Horizon Charter and request a voucher for services.  You must have your voucher in hand at your first Spanish Class.  During the first day of class our native speaking and highly trained instructors will evaluate each student and level the group based on ability.  Instruction will follow a progressive curriculum published by Sombrero Time that develops reading, writing, listening and speaking proficiency in Spanish.

If you do not have a group of 5 or more students Sombrero Time offers Personal Tutoring for 1-4 students.  Vouchers can be used as well for these services.  Contact us to reserve your customized class schedule.

Home School Spanish Rates:

Groups of 5 or more students:
Two 60 minute sessions/week
Cost – $125 per month/student

Groups of 1-4 students:
Cost – 1 student: $50/45 minute  session.
Cost – 2 students: $70/45 minute session.
Cost – 3 students: $90/45 minute session.
Cost – 4 students: $110/45 minute session.

Personalized Spanish Tutoring

If you are looking for a more intensive approach to learning Spanish consider our Private Tutoring service.  Classes are conducted at our education facility in Granite Bay by one of our qualified and experienced native Spanish speaking instructors.  We can customize the program to your schedule and accommodate 1:1 to 1:4 instruction.

Spanish for Grades 1-6

These immersive classes cater to the Spanish language student seeking to produce life lasting results. Class size is kept to 16 students allowing more focus time with the instructor. Classes are held 4 days per week, Tuesday-Friday and follow the Eureka Union School District Calendar from September through May. All materials are included with class registration and discounts are provided for families with multiple students.  Want to simplify your logistics?  What parent doesn’t!  Our facility is located just a few feet from the EUSD bus stop which means you can either drop your student before class and count on them arriving on time at Ridgeview Elementary.  Likewise, Oakhills students arrive at Sombrero Time via EUSD school bus and are ushered by our instructors into class.  Just pick them up at our facility after class.

Kinder Spanish

Give your child a great head start in this prep class for Spanish 1.  Kinder Spanish is based on our same immersion philosophy and curriculum but is paced for younger students.  Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays and follow the Eureka Union School District Calendar from September through May.  For those mobile parents that would like to stay and work while you student is in class we have free WiFi access in our reception area.
