October Student Learning Objectives – Level 3

Students in Sombrero Time level 3 (rojo) classes will be learning the following concepts during the month of October. Students will demonstrate language learning as they:

  • Write a description of an item using the five senses
  • Engage in conversations describing objects, animals, and people using the proper form of ser
  • Identify and name colors, shapes, textures, temperatures, smells, sounds, and tastes of items
  • Engage in conversations about things we see, hear, taste, or touch

September Student Learning Objectives – Level 3

Students in Sombrero Time level 3 (rojo) classes will be learning the following concepts during the month of September. Students will demonstrate language learning as they:

  • Write a letter incorporating their name, self-description, birthday and
    how they feel using the correct forms of llamrse, ser, estar.
  • Identify and name numbers 1-150
  • Engage in conversations describing objects, animals and people using the
    proper form of ser
  • Identify and name colors
  • Engage in conversation about the weather
  • Ask and answer the question ¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños?”
